About the partnership

Lingalaks AS is a family-owned fish farming company with its main office in Norheimsund in Hardanger. The company was founded in 1978, has production facilities in the municipalities of Kvam, Kvinnherad, and Radøy and their own fish processing facility together with Tombre Fiskeanlegg in Hardanger. The company is currently actively involved in several other ongoing projects with various partners, including a smolt facility, a fish processing ship, and a fish processing plant.  Lingalaks employs around 40 persons.

Framo AS is a pump manufacturer based in the region of Vestland. Framo’s main office is in Florvåg on the island of Askøy, and the company has three factories and a large service workshop in the region of Vestland. The company was founded in 1938 and is now a worldwide organisation with branches in a total of eight countries on three continents. Today, the company has 1,250 employees and is a leading manufacturer of pump systems for the chemical tanker market and the offshore industry.

Framo also produces suction caissons for offshore windmills and is exploring new opportunities within digitalisation and fish farming. Framo is part of the Alfa Laval group, and Bergen is the head office for marine pump systems. All Framo products are sold by Framo and Framo also carries out all maintenance of their products.
